Update 1.4: Backstory engine.

Now you can update and play Caverns and Dryads with the new chapters added in the inn, the dungeons and city that add some backstory conversations, a nice way to be introduced to the game world.

It also adds the possibility to add more chapters of this kind easier, which will allow me to continuously add more depth to the game.

The story chapters for the main theme and secondary missions will need anyway more work, but this engine eases things like conversations in the tavern and other places that I'll add and other situations.

Now I am working on the main story. I have already written some chapters. I'll have to program and turn it all into a quest, with options and all that. Stay tuned!

  1. Suggestion future update: The door-breaking system might not give hints (number higher or lower than the chosen one). With 5 attempts I follow an infallible method: first always choosing the number 5; 8 or 3 depending on the hint < or >; and depending on the hint again I choose <1,2 >4 or <6,7 >9,10. I hope I was able to explain๐Ÿ˜…

    1. Yes but that means you are playing very good, Nandu! Congrats! ๐Ÿ˜Š And when you delve deeper the number to guess may go from 1 to 50 so it doesn't become so easy. In fact, I've not raised it more than 50 or lowered attempts because of I do it becomes very hard. But in future updates I am also going to add four other kinds of minigames for obstacles. They will be different and more frequent depending on the place. They are actually half implemented: a river, plants blocking the way, and others.
