News about Caverns and Dryads, two illustrations

Here's news about my progress on Caverns and Dryads first main big adventure (The Emerald City). 

THE GAME CAVERNS AND DRYADS ON STEAM

I already have the illustrations finished, except maybe if I have to retouch something. They took a long time to complete, but I'm happy with the results.

The story is implemented into the game but I still have to translate everything into the two languages of the game, Spanish and English. 

There will be a lot to test and bug-fix too, so I will be busy for several weeks.  

So, players, expect it to be ready between this month and the next, if everything goes good! I'm so excited!  

This is one of the illustrations, of Tamzyn in the Palace of the Dryads. I don't want to make spoilers so I am not going to explain the situation in which she is ;)

THE NOVEL

This adventure will be called "Love Against All" in the novel, that will include all the adventure of the Purple King, this one, and other smaller ones, and all the journey through the Chasm. 

To my surprise, I have around 150 pages written. I still have to add much more stuff. Some things in the game need to be described, like combats, for example, or the places, and more. And there's a lot of space to add more adventures and situations.

Like the game, it will be a high fantasy novel, with a 50% of adventure and another 50% of  love story. I want to have both aspects in balance, so the novel will be perfect for:

• Readers who enjoy high fantasy stories but miss well developed romantic stories in them.
• Readers who enjoy romantic fantasy but miss rich and unique worlds and adventure.

I’ve always been both types of reader, and for years I felt that fantasy books were becoming polarized: romantasy that barely develops the fantasy world, and fantasy that lacks emotional depth. 

My intention is to write a story that is both adventurous and romantic high fantasy, without clichés or tropes, and with a healthy, meaningful relationship at its core.
